Transportation Management

We have heavily invested in the facilities necessary for effective provision of distribution including our own fleet of over 200 commercial vehicles of various types fitted with state-of-the-art electronic cargo tracking systems. Through our global network, we have established con-tracts with partners including airlines and shipping companies to ensure a seamless and efficient solution for our clients including Safaricom to and from all points of origin.

To manage its Transport and distribution operations, Acceler has invested in a Distribution and Transport System called Routing & DeliveryExpert, which is a module of SCExpert. The SCExpert system can integrate with any system and has so far been successfully integrated with all leading ERPs, including SAP, Oracle, Magento, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and many others.

Fleet Management

Acceler has heavily invested in the facilities necessary for effective provision of logistics ser-vices including distribution. The facilities include own premises at JKIA with spacious and adequate grounds for 24 hour secure parking. We further have additional parking spaces at our warehouse in Mlolongo and even at our branch in Mombasa.
To optimally plan for the outbound distribution operations, Acceler has invested in a Distribution and Transport System called RoutingExpert. RoutingExpert™ helps optimize & balance distribution profitability and better customer service through routing efficiency. The system uses advanced industry algorithms and custom routing passes, allowing Acceler to create multiple intelligent route plans. RoutingExpert™ enables Acceler to define planning and optimization based on weight calculation of target functions such as: minimum cost, maximum service level, minimum resources (trucks/trailers).The system enables the transportation department users to monitor task completion, tackle occurring problems, and to provide customers with information regarding delays.

Performance Management

The RoutingExpert has a fleet performance management system that it uses for monitoring tasks. The system allows the management to insert details for all its fleet used in the distribution pro-cess. During actual performance, the system is able to automatically allocate tasks to specific vehicles that will optimally distribute the goods based on the vehicle futures.
